Leslie and i were scouring the video store for something to watch. we both agreed that we had to get Bruce Almighty (2003) again just to watch the scene where he makes the news anchor flip out. so we did that, and we picked up this one that we both obviously had had a slight interest in seeing previously.
the plot is this: a bunch of people all end up stranded in a motel in a huge rainstorm that doesn't stop throughout the movie. it's always raining. some random accidents and murders start happening too. slowly one by one each person dies. and there's a room key next to each one of them. the room numbers are counting down. and then at the end they tell you why.
we got a little bored watching the movie. it's not really interesting at all except for the end. it's a good ending i guess and it doesn't disappoint you, but the whole film is just a buildup to that fact. i guess i'm about burned out on thrillers and horror movies. i need to give it a rest.
