Clockwatchers (1997)

Greg started watching this one at work yesterday and asked me if i had seen it. he seemed to think that it was pretty good. i thought it was just ok. i enjoyed Parker Posey as always, but other than that it was pretty dull.

it's about the temp lifestyle. if you don't know what temps are, they are temporary employees (i guess often female, but sometimes male as well) that do generic office work usually at large corporations. there are four main temps in this film and they struggle with some personal problems as well as being accused of stealing at their office. someone in the building is stealing important personal items from all over the place and no one knows who it is, but everyone thinks it might be one of the temp girls. the temp girls think it might be the new female administrative assistant who keeps glaring at them.

i think i've gotten really tired of the show Friends being on the air and i've started to hate everyone that's on the show because they're on the show. and i hate seeing them in movies. Matthew Perry has greatly redeemed himself though by being in The Whole Nine Yards (2000). Lisa Kudrow, who is in Clockwatchers, has not. she sucks and she always plays the same idiot character. and i hate seeing it in films. she sucks. Toni Collette's portrayal of her character was not amazingly courageous either. like i said though, i really enjoyed Parker Posey though. i think this is about the snottiest i've seen her yet in a film and it was really awesome.
