*Golden Globes results

so it looks like i bottomed out on the Golden Globes predictions, picking a whopping 25% of the winners correctly. maybe i'll do better for the Oscars. we'll see.

i apologize for my suggestion on waiting until 9:30 to start watching the show. i totally didn't know that they did that much mixing up of TV and film awards. that sucked and was very stupid and pointless in my opinion.

now for more random comments.

ok, i agree with Jack Nicholson. About Schmidt was totally put in the wrong category. that's just idiotic. it's cool that he won, but just wrong.

i didn't expect Chicago to do so well, but it's justifiable.

i'm really disappointed that Philip Glass didn't win for Best Score. not that i had actually heard any of the other scores or seen any of the films in which they played a part, but damn that's an awesome score in The Hours.

biggest surprise of the evening for me: Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor with About Schmidt for Best Screenplay. i never would have guessed that.

i just have to say at least i picked Best Drama correctly. and i'm so glad that what i wanted to win actually did.

and i think i've done about 5 entries within the last 24 hours, so you might consider hitting "previous movie."
