yes, it's yet another very bad Akira Kurosawa film. Yojimbo. so so boring. why do i watch them? well this one has been skimming the edge of the IMDb top 100 list, so i decided to get it out of the way. i will never watch another Kurosawa film.
this one stars Toshiro Mifune who also played a major role in both Rashomon (1950) and Shichinin no samurai (1954). reviewing older entries here, i don't think i need to say anything here that was not said in the complaints about Ran (1985). but i didn't want to be watching this movie at all and it didn't do a thing for me so i'll give it a 2/10. for previous comments about Yojimbo, check this entry. ok, i'm sorry for all my bitching, but i'll be watching some very good films this weekend. and remember that Akira Kurosawa is the devil.
